The Rotary Club of Sheffield Vulcan collected on behalf of Marie Curie Cancer Care at Sainsburys on Archer Road. Saturday 5th April 2014 will be remembered as the date when eight members of the Club collected over £1,020 towards the Great Daffodil Appeal.
Perhaps the silly hats helped to attract donors or perhaps it was the fact the collectors were positioned at the end of the travelator as shoppers exited the sore. Most likely our fantastic fundraising total came about as a result of Members wearing a silly daffodil hat and the outright generosity of the shoppers who visited Sainsburys on Archer Road throughout the day.
